Perfectionism and Starting a Blog

Starting a blog is something that I think about often. I read a few (a ton) of blogs. I like to write. I'm positive that everyone wants to see pictures of my dog, try my recipes, and watch as I fail at pinterest projects. What's stopping me?

Sometimes (always) I like things to be... the best/perfect, etc, etc. I have found this not a great recipe for creativity. But this week I did something that was completely out of character for me. It was awesome and scary and not planned. Another thing, I like plans - but that's another day.

Over the years, I've collected blogs to read (made easier by Bloglovin), here are some of my favorites:
  • Natalie and her cute family in New York
  • Emily and her cute family in Chicago
  • Joanna and her cute family in New York .... ok I am seeing a pattern here. This was not intended.
  • Liz in Toronto
  • Julie in Florida (let's be honest, her pup Sadie steals the show)
So I like a good blog. But I'm going to try my hand at my own, here I go.

Oh and this is Ellie. She likes to beg to go on walks and then lie under a tree after a block and refuse to move. It's hilarious in a picture but less so in real life.
